The Skylight at Moynihan Station opened it’s NYFW doors on Thursday the 8th and what a crowd it brought in. My first show there was of the always-fashion-forward → Michael Costello.
With a crowd full of recognizable faces, both influencers – models – and celebrities filling each seat, I was thrilled that mine was right next to Ellese Launer from Rock.Paper.Glam.

… Gowns are flowing with color & voluminous pieces are ruffling across the landscape. Glimmers of light reflect off beads and metallics. The architecture of the garments are evocative of flowers blooming.
Delicate. Radiant. Beautiful.
Costello had quite an audience in attendance — Danielle Moinet, Dorothy Wang, Barron Hilton II and Paris Hilton — along with Petra Nemcova, some of the beautiful ladies of WAGS, and one of my personal favorite influencers Heidi Nazarudin from The Ambitionista.
But the stage lit-up when Tyson Beckford turned the corner, in a Costello fuchsia patterned number!
I love this red, the movement was captivating, beautiful, and seductive. ♥
A couple of the black with their subtle patterns styles took my breath away too!
I think Costello has a way of going grand that makes some of his pieces perfect for costume — not quite ready off the runway — but image what he could do with a fairytale setting featured movie ♥
Costello astonishes and revolutionizes styles from all eras.
Which is your favorite?
